Keleigh Cormier, FCMC

Keleigh is founder and president of ClearThink™ Group and co-founder of Connect for Food. Based in Alberta, Canada, she focuses on initiatives that strengthen rural economies and advance agritourism.

Keleigh has been actively consulting to businesses for over 30 years. She has the experience and capability to visualize the desired outcomes of client projects and facilitate an actionable plan to get there. Keleigh’s critical thinking skills and style provide entrepreneurs and leaders with a clear and practical path to achieving their goals. She has received her fellowship and is now an FCMC.  

For 30 years, Keleigh has advised hundreds of business owners, managers, and teams, assisting with opportunities and challenges which occur in these settings. Her areas of expertise include: Business Strategies and Planning; Market Research and Evaluation; Feasibility Studies; New Product / Market Development; General Business Consulting and Coaching. She has worked in many sectors from agriculture to tourism to technology including the Alberta Open Farm Days Coaching Program, the Back to Business Coaching Program (Rural Municipality Wood Buffalo; Town of Sylvan Lake & Bentley AB; Community Futures Wild Rose) and Industrial Research Assistance Program – Management Assistance Services (National Research Council of Canada and Alberta Innovates).

Her educational qualifications include: B. Comm., School of Businesses, University of Alberta; Certified Management Consultant (CMC), CMC-Alberta; Certified Agricultural Consultant (CAC), CMC-Canada; New Product Development Certificate, York University; Indigenous Canada, Faculty of Native Studies, University of Alberta.

Her professional memberships include CMC-Alberta, Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC), CMC-Global, and Sherwood Park & Strathcona County + Sylvan Lake Chambers of Commerce. 

Her volunteer engagements have ranged from business to community settings. She is involved in her professional association: CMC-Alberta. Currently a professional assessor of CMC candidates, co-chair of the FCMC selection committee and member of the CMC oral assessment committee. Keleigh also served as past chair & board director of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Alberta (CMC-Alberta). She has volunteered with The Business Link (guest advisor program), TEC Edmonton (Tec Source Advisory Panel), Mentor to University of Alberta Business Students and ATB’s Mentorship Program. Other volunteer activities include Canadian Parents for French and 4H. She was actively involved in the family ranching operations including raising beef cattle and thoroughbred racehorses.

Keleigh is on the regional committee as co-chair of GAN North America. 

 

Pierre Cormier, CMC, CAC

Pierre is a seasoned professional advising leaders in achieving solid business growth for over 20 years. His entrepreneurial zest provides a high level of energy and devotion to all client projects. As a professional consultant and coach, Pierre has mentored hundreds of entrepreneurs in reaching optimal potential and performance.

Pierre’s consulting experience in the agri-business, manufacturing, retail, technology, tourism, and professional services sectors bring depth and knowledge to all projects including Industrial Research Assistance Program – Management Assistance Services (National Research Council of Canada and Alberta Innovates), the Alberta Open Farm Days Coaching Program, the Business Coaching Program (Community Futures Wild Rose & Towns of Sylvan Lake and Bentley) and the Back to Business Coaching Program (Rural Municipality Wood Buffalo). Pierre’s areas of expertise include: Business Strategies and Planning; Market Research and Evaluation; Feasibility Studies; New Product / Market Development; Business & Sales Coaching; Trade Missions & Matchmaking.

Pierre has always enjoyed volunteering at his children’s elementary school (Ardrossan) to assist in developing student reading skills within Alberta’s French Immersion Program.

Pierre is on the Executive Committee as Treasurer, Leadership – Global Agritourism Network.
